Scialara beach is also known as Pizzomunno beach, since it begins with the famous monolith with the same name and runs for 3 km. Locals often call it Castello beach as well, as it is overcome by Svevo castle on its left.
Probably this is the mostly known beach of the city as it welcomes tourists from the biggest hotels and resorts located on the promenade.
The golden sand makes this beach uniquely beautiful. There you will find every comfort you might need; you will be able to enjoy long walks on the shore and children will happily play in the sea.
The beach is plenty of small steams of cold fresh water flowing into the sea.
Take your time to enjoy a dinner or a drink in one of the small restaurants and bars on the promenade.
